Bill Gates, now 68 years old, founder of Microsoft Corporation and the world’s top billionaire for many years, has just posted his “very simple looking” resume when he was 19 years old.
“Whether you are a recent graduate or a college dropout, I’m sure your resume looks a lot better than mine did 48 years ago” – the caption with the spirit of encouraging young people is really touching until people see the salary of 12 thousand dollars of this “19-year-old boy”.
A freshman at Harvard University, a salary of 12,000 USD (equivalent to 71,000 USD in 2022), is really a “huge” number for a 19-year-old in 1974.
Suddenly looking back at my “golden branch and jade leaf” CV with a salary of 0.005 billion/month, I feel a bit unstable!
